Day by day
Day 1Mon 12 Apr – Arrive in Phuket: Songkran Eve on Bangla Road
- Land at Phuket International Airport (please arrive before 10:00 AM for the group pickup) and meet your trip captain and the gang
- Group transfer to your hotel in Patong – check-in from 3:00 PM, drop your bags and grab lunch nearby
- Pick up your water gun and waterproof pouch – Songkran warm-up starts the evening before
- Evening pub crawl on Bangla Road with free shots – the street is already buzzing for the festival
Day 2Tue 13 Apr – SONGKRAN DAY in Phuket: The Biggest Water Fight
- 13 April is the main Songkran day – Thai New Year – and Patong is the wildest place in Phuket to be
- Morning: see the traditional side of Songkran – locals pouring scented water over elders' hands and Buddha images for blessings
- From noon, Patong turns into a giant water battle: water guns, buckets, foam and music along Beach Road and Bangla Road
- Beach break at Patong Beach to cool off between rounds
- Evening Songkran street parties and DJ stages on Bangla Road – dance till late with the group
Day 3Wed 14 Apr – Ferry to Phi Phi Islands: Maya Bay & Snorkelling
- Check out after breakfast and transfer to the pier (about 1 hour, with a snack stop), then a 2-hour ferry to Phi Phi
- Half-day long-tail boat tour: Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon, Monkey Beach and Viking Cave
- Snorkel in the clear water off Phi Phi
- Evening free on Phi Phi – beach bars and the famous fire shows on the sand
Day 4Thu 15 Apr – Phi Phi → Krabi: Ao Nang Beach Party
- Slow morning on Phi Phi after breakfast
- Ferry from Phi Phi to Krabi and transfer to your hotel in Ao Nang
- Afternoon free – beach time on Ao Nang, massages or a walk along the beachfront
- Evening Ao Nang beach party with the group – Songkran celebrations continue in Krabi
Day 5Fri 16 Apr – 4 Island Speedboat Tour + Krabi Pub Crawl
- Speedboat tour of Krabi's 4 islands: Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Tup Island (walk the sandbar at low tide) and Phra Nang Cave Beach
- Swim, snorkel and take photos at turquoise bays under the limestone cliffs
- Beachside lunch on the island tour
- Evening pub crawl in Ao Nang with free shots – the farewell night with the gang
Day 6Sat 17 Apr – Fly Home from Phuket
- Breakfast and check out (12:00 noon)
- Group road transfer from Krabi to Phuket International Airport (about 3 hours)
- Fly home to India – please book a return flight after 2:00 PM, ideally after 3:00 PM

Good to know
- Songkran is the Thai New Year (13–15 April). In 2027 the main day, Tuesday 13 April, is Day 2 of this trip, spent in Patong – the biggest water fight in Phuket
- Everything gets wet: keep phones and passports in a waterproof pouch, and wear clothes you don't mind soaking
- Be respectful: no water on monks, elders who don't want it, or people on motorbikes; ice water and water to the face are frowned on
- Patong traffic is very slow on Songkran days – the plan keeps us on foot around Bangla Road and Beach Road
- Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out 12:00 noon at all hotels
- Phuket → Phi Phi takes about 3 hours (1 hour by road with a snack stop + 2 hours by ferry)
- Boat trips depend on sea conditions; if one is cancelled we move it or arrange an alternative
- Visa: Indian passport holders have had visa-free entry to Thailand – please check the rule for April 2027 before you book flights
- Currency: Thai Baht (THB). Carry some cash for park fees, street food and Songkran gear

Cancellation policy
- Cancel in writing, by email or WhatsApp to our team.
- Your booking amount (advance) is non-refundable and non-transferable once paid.
- 30 days or less before departure: 100% of the trip cost is charged, or the actual vendor charges if higher.
- No cash refunds. Where money can be recovered you get a credit note, valid 12 months on a new Desh Videsh trip, after deducting flights, visas and vendor charges.
- Visa fees, hotel deposits, event tickets and add-ons are non-refundable. Charges apply whatever the reason, including visa rejection or a no-show.
- Want to change dates instead? One free reschedule up to 45 days before departure; 30–44 days: actual vendor costs; 29 days or less: treated as a cancellation.
- Group trips need at least 6 travellers. If a batch doesn’t fill, we offer another date, another trip or a credit note.
