Day by day
Day 1Arrival in Moscow
- Meet our team at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Help with currency exchange and a quick city briefing. Evening walking tour: Red Square, the illuminated Nikolskaya Street and Moscow's UNESCO-listed metro stations – the underground palaces.
Day 2Explore Moscow
- Red Square, Manezh Square and panoramic views from the Sky Bridge. Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Ride back through the famous Soviet-era metro, admired for its architecture and artwork.
Day 3Fly to Murmansk & Northern Lights adventure
- Flight to Murmansk, the gateway to the Arctic. Check in and relax. Evening: first Northern Lights hunt (optional) with an experienced guide and professional photographer.
Day 4Sami village experience & Murmansk city tour
- Optional visit to a traditional Sami village – Sami tea and soup, reindeer, huskies, a short reindeer sleigh ride and photos in traditional Sami attire. Guided Murmansk city tour.
Day 5Arctic Ocean & Glass Igloo stay
- Optional Arctic Plunge into the Arctic Ocean or snowmobile ride (subject to snow). Check in to the Glass Igloo (4 guests per igloo) – Northern Lights from your bed if luck is on your side.
Day 6Cottage stay & optional Teriberka excursion
- Transfer to a wooden cottage (3 guests per cottage) or hotel, depending on availability. Optional excursion to Teriberka, the Arctic village from the film Leviathan – depends on road and weather, confirmed one day before.
Day 7Fly to St. Petersburg
- Flight to St. Petersburg, Russia's cultural capital. Check in to a central hotel. Evening at your own pace, or an optional Russian ballet or classical concert.
Day 8Discover St. Petersburg
- Peter & Paul Fortress, Kazan Cathedral and the Hermitage Museum. Photo stops at the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and St. Isaac's Cathedral. Night out at some of the city's best bars and clubs.
Day 9Return to Moscow & departure
- High-speed train back to Moscow, then transfer to the airport for the flight home to Delhi.

Cancellation policy
- Cancel in writing, by email or WhatsApp to our team.
- Your booking amount (advance) is non-refundable and non-transferable once paid.
- 30 days or less before departure: 100% of the trip cost is charged, or the actual vendor charges if higher.
- No cash refunds. Where money can be recovered you get a credit note, valid 12 months on a new Desh Videsh trip, after deducting flights, visas and vendor charges.
- Visa fees, hotel deposits, event tickets and add-ons are non-refundable. Charges apply whatever the reason, including visa rejection or a no-show.
- Want to change dates instead? One free reschedule up to 45 days before departure; 30–44 days: actual vendor costs; 29 days or less: treated as a cancellation.
- Group trips need at least 6 travellers. If a batch doesn’t fill, we offer another date, another trip or a credit note.
