Day by day
Day 1Delhi → Srinagar (overnight Volvo)
- Board the sleeper Volvo from the Delhi boarding point around 5:00–6:00 PM – please report 30 minutes early
- Overnight drive towards Kashmir, with a dinner stop at a roadside dhaba (own cost)
- Flying in instead? Skip this day and join the group at Srinagar airport on Day 1
Day 2Srinagar: Mughal Gardens, Shikara & Houseboat
- Group pickup at Srinagar airport at 12:30 PM (one common pickup – please land by 12:00 PM); bus travellers are met at the Srinagar bus stand
- Check in to a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake
- Visit the Mughal gardens – Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Chashme Shahi – in their winter colours
- Evening 1-hour shikara ride on Dal Lake as the lights come on
- Kashmiri dinner on the houseboat
Day 3Srinagar → Gulmarg: Snow Day
- Breakfast and drive to Gulmarg via Tangmarg, with snow-covered pine forests on the way
- Ride the Gulmarg Gondola Phase 1 (subject to availability) for big Himalayan views
- Free time in the snow – optional skiing, snowboarding, sledging or a pony ride to Khilanmarg (own cost)
- Evening at the cafés and markets of Gulmarg
Day 4Gulmarg → Pahalgam
- Breakfast and a scenic drive through the valleys towards Pahalgam
- Stop at the ancient Avantipur temple ruins in Pulwama
- Evening free by the Lidder River in Pahalgam
Day 5Aru, Betaab & Chandanwari → Srinagar
- Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari by local vehicle – snow-covered meadows and frozen streams (access depends on snow on the roads)
- Optional pony rides at extra cost
- Drive back to Srinagar in the evening
Day 6Sonmarg Excursion
- Day trip to Sonmarg along the Sindh River (subject to road conditions)
- Optional pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier at extra cost
- Snow play and photos, then back to Srinagar for the night
Day 7Departure from Srinagar
- Breakfast and check-out
- One fixed group drop to Srinagar airport or the Srinagar bus stand – book flights after 2:00 PM (ideally between 2:00 and 3:00 PM)
- Delhi travellers board the Volvo back to Delhi

Good to know
- Coming from another city to take the Volvo? Reach Delhi before 1:00 PM on Day 0
- Missed the group pickup or the bus? You'll need to arrange your own transfer, at your own cost
- Gondola tickets are not guaranteed; if they sell out, we offer an alternative
- In heavy snow, the Gulmarg and Pahalgam nights may be swapped and some roads (Chandanwari, Sonmarg) may close – we change the plan on the day for your safety
- Bus travellers are dropped at the Srinagar bus stand

Cancellation policy
- Cancel in writing, by email or WhatsApp to our team.
- Your booking amount (advance) is non-refundable and non-transferable once paid.
- 30 days or less before departure: 100% of the trip cost is charged, or the actual vendor charges if higher.
- No cash refunds. Where money can be recovered you get a credit note, valid 12 months on a new Desh Videsh trip, after deducting flights, visas and vendor charges.
- Visa fees, hotel deposits, event tickets and add-ons are non-refundable. Charges apply whatever the reason, including visa rejection or a no-show.
- Want to change dates instead? One free reschedule up to 30 days before departure; 15–29 days: actual vendor costs; 14 days or less: treated as a cancellation.
- Group trips need at least 6 travellers. If a batch doesn’t fill, we offer another date, another trip or a credit note.
